Hostfamily, VBT and Bafög

Okay, finally I recieved my hostfamily( early,though?!) But I start with the Bafög thats a kind of scolarship and I got it. Its not a lot money per month but better than nothing.
Then there were the VBT( some preparing things for the US) at the weekend and I didn't learned that much more but...okay.
And them while this thing my mum called me and told me that I've got an e-mail which says that there is a family for me... I was really shocked. But then I was happy. I have 4 little siblings and normal parents. I'll live near Portland,OR in Vancouver,WA... Yeah!

Nothing new..

Hey guys,
I know I haven't posted for a while but there weren't that much. I am now going with Eurovacances and in the USA Aspect. Okay so no scolarship for me but it's okay. Met a guy from minessota where I want to go,if I could choose. And yeah, thats it. If there is new stuff about a host family or something I'll post it (if anybody wants me)

Today I recived a letter by yfu the ppp organisation. They told me that I am not getting it. Sadly. So I gonna apply at an usaral USA highschool program. And of course for other scolarships for example BAFöG. It's gonna be an interesting year full of applications and meeting. But you can follow this year at this blog. Love U

The beginning..

Hello.
I am Rike and I want to stay for an whole year (2014/15) in the USA as an exchange student. My both brothers did it before..but one of them is still there.
In the summer holidays I applied for the PPP,an scolarship for the USA from the german parliament.(down there the german letter)
I hope I'll get it,this would be awesome !
And if I dont get it I have to apply at an other organization,even if its very expensive...I just want it so much.  Maybe you ask why it's so interesting for me. That's why: I love american sports,football and cheerleading are my hobbys,no my life! I want to explore the world,find out more about the diffrent culture, the life,the school and ofcouse I want to meet new people. Now I know some american people and they told me so much cool stuff..I just want to feel it, how it is to stay there,far away from your family. In a new and other life. Thats what I want to know,and what I will do.
If news are coming I'll tell you guys.
This is the beginning of a beautiful adventure
